Meg was one of three girls featured in the documentary 65_Redroses, which starred Eva Markvoort, who passed away on March 28th, 2010 from Cystic Fibrosis. She was on the transplant list due to chronic rejection, and she never got another pair of lungs. Meg also had CF and she died from gastric complications while in hospital. She had surgery, developed an infection, and in her weakened state, she passed away at the age of 25.
